2024 Bioshares Biotech Summit
The 18th Bioshares Biotech Summit will be held at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle, Western Australia on the 12-13 July 2024
Following on from a very successful event in Hobart during 2023 which had a record 200 attendees, the move to Fremantle will provide the opportunity for biotech companies to access new retail and institutional investors in WA, and for biotechs and service providers to build closer links with a very active biotech sector in the state which enjoys strong support from the WA State Government.

Registration
The Summit will officially commence on Friday 12 July. On Thursday 11 July, the annual CEO Dinner will take place. A new aspect to the event this year will be a CFO dinner on the same evening. Registration is now open (Registration). Accommodation can now be booked here.

CEO Dinner
This year’s CEO Dinner (for biotech CEOs only) will be held at the Republic of Fremantle commencing at 6.30pm on Thursday 11 July. The event is sponsored by Avatar Brokers.
CFO Dinner
For the first time we will be including a CFO Dinner, which will provide biotech CFOs the opportunity to meet, network and discuss topical issues. CFO's interest in attending this event please contact James Heath at Microba Lifesciences (james.heath{at}microba.com)
Cocktail Reception
The Cocktail Reception will be held on Friday 12 July from 7.30pm. The event is sponsored by FB Rice and will be held at the Harbourside Little Creatures Brewery. Ample food will be supplied for dinner (substantial canapes).
Closing Dinner
The event will close with the Summit Dinner at the local restaurant Bread in Common, on Saturday 13 July, commencing at 7pm. The dinner sponsor is the ASX. Numbers to the dinner will be strictly limited to the venue capacity of 200 people, so book early for this event.
Off Site Events – Golf Day
The Bioshares golf competition is returning this year and will be held the day before the formal commencement of the Summit, on Thursday 11 July. For those interested in participating, please contact Brian Leedman (brian{at}blinklab.org ). It will be held at Point Walter Golf Course, with spectacular views. Nine holes only given time constraints. Lunch at 12pm. Tee off at 1.30pm. Drinks at course bar and presentation follow.
The Summit is an ideal event for fund managers, stockbrokers and investment bankers active in the sector as well as retail investors who have a committed interest in biotech stocks or are looking to build their knowledge and networks in this space. It remains one of the key, high-level networking events in the sector.
