Located one hour from Queenstown is the only testing facility in the sothern hemisphere used by European car manufacturers to test their vehicles in icy conditions.

In this half day group booking, you will drive a range of European cars in groomed ice and snow tracks under the guidance of experienced instructors. A bus will leave Queenstown at 7am on Friday morning and get you back to the conference facility at 12.30pm, just in time for the conference kick off.

Queenstown is a picturesque town located in the south island of New Zealand. For Australian delegates, direct flights are available from the east coast of Australia to Queenstown in July, with Air New Zealand, Virgin (Pacific Blue) and Qantas all servicing this route, however direct flight options are not daily. (Check Air New Zealand for special offers).

Once you fly into Queenstown, we are seeking to organise Jet Boat Taxis (approximate price $60) to Rydges Hotel. If you are interested please let us know. This service will only be available if we have sufficient numbers on the same flight so you will need to send us your travel details.

Thursday 21 July, 3.30pm (flight arrival)

Accommodation
We have arranged accommodation packages at the conference facility, the Rydges Lakeland Resort, where delegates can secure accommodation at a discounted rate of NZ$175 per night for a twin/double room, for the week of the conference. There are several rooms available (as of 9 June 2011). Call Rydges reservations on +64 3 442 7600.
